Joint Meeting Requirements:

Attendees must submit proof of their COVID-19 vaccination in CrowdPass prior to check in.  All attendees will be required to wears masks throughout the meeting.

AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting is using an online platform called CrowdPass to complete each attendee's digital health clearance. All confirmed registrants will receive an email from info@jointmeeting.org with access to the CrowdPass portal. 

You will need to create an account with CrowdPass and complete the required health screening, including uploading a digital copy of your COVID-19 vaccination.

CrowdPass is a HIPAA-compliant platform that delivers built-in privacy and security protocols that cover all typical healthcare industry practice on personal data such as encryption, certificate and key management, backups, monitoring and logging.  All information collected from each registrant will only be accessed internally for health-screening purposes and contact-tracing purposes.

We will continue to monitor and update the health and safety protocols for the AAP/ASCI/APSA 2022 Joint Meeting regularly.

The Joint Meeting is accepting late-breaking abstract submissions for poster presentation.

Deadline to submit: March 11, 2022 at 11:59PM ET

Space is limited and priority will be given to those received earliest.

Policies

General policies

• A presenter is allowed to submit only one abstract for consideration.
• Presenters may edit or withdraw submitted abstracts up to the submission deadline.
• Cancellations for poster presentations received by the Joint Meeting 6 weeks in advance of the meeting date will be removed from presentation; within 6 weeks, the abstract title and presenter name will be displayed and marked as “Canceled.
• ”No-shows: Presenters who provide no advance notice of cancellation and who do not place posters at their designated locations at the meeting will lose their presentation privileges for the subsequent year.

Abstract-specific policies

• The abstract under consideration may represent work previously published.
• Potential conflicts of interest in connection with the abstract are disclosed.
• If the abstract is accepted, the presenter agrees to be available to present it.
• Any animal studies conform with the Guiding Principles in the Care and Use of Animals of the American Physiological Society.
• Any human experimentation was conducted according to a protocol approved by an Institutional Review Board on ethics of human investigation.
